A thin book that is good just to sit back and read, rather than study of use for reference. It could almost be described as a gentle introduction to architectural, using Cambridge buildings as an example.
It would benefit from critical editing in some places, and perhaps more photographs to illustrate some of the points made. But then other books could be referred to for illustrations, Rawle for example, and it is still a book that I would strongly recommend.
