Cambridge Architecture

Most of the book is devoted to a chapter by chapter description of the college buildings, though there are also introductory chapters and information about the rest of the City.

Perhaps the strong point of the book is the large number of black and white photographs. Although the presentation is sometimes lacking in quality, the photograhs themselves are good, and make the book very appealing. The shear number of photographs also gives a very good impression of what Cambridge and the individual buildings are like. As such, this book complements Pevsner very well.
