Medieval Fairs

There were four fairs of significance to Cambridge that date from the Middle Ages: Garlic Fair, Reach Fair, Midsummer Fair and Stourbridge Fair.

Stourbridge and Reach Fair were held outside Cambridge. Stourbridge Fair was just outside the boundaries, whereas Reach was a hamlet 10 miles from Cambridge.
