You will, for example, note that the lower half of the gate is all too perfectly symmetrical! As you look at the gate, the Senate House (viewed from a different angle here) is behind you, and on your right. Just down Senate House Passage can be seen the same Gate, viewed from the South-East corner. At the East end of Senate House Passage, if you stand back a little you will get this view of the South side of Gonville and Caius College. If you go through the Gate of Honour and turn right in Caius Court you will see the West side of the Gate of Virtue.
